Well, this is my second fanfic that i'll be sending. It still deals with dimension travel but
it has a new look at the characters. I call it a semi crossover since the characters don't exactly
meet each other but all of them have something in common.
Please tell me if I have inconcistencies in any of the character portrayals.
I'll be waiting for C&C.

Saving The Heroes
The scene was of utter devastation. The entire block was in ruins and the streets were pockmarked with crackes and holes. At the center of this deveastation were two figures. One was about 5 foot 10 inches and his face looked like he was a nineteen year old. He wore a long flowing coat that reached to his knees and his unruly black hair was kept under a fedora hat pulled rakishly over one of his eyes. He was currently dodging the attacks of a 10 foot metal monstrosity with what seemed plasma cannons firing from its wrist.
The teenager backflipped two times as the plasma bursts started to hit the ground beneath him. He then flowed forward like a river, pulling something from his coat. Light flashed from a cylinder he held in his hand. He stopped one foot away from the robot then jumped upward. The moment seemed to stop in time. The teen was twelve feet above the ground, a sword of blue light in his hands , when the steel abomination beneath him fell into large junk pile of sliced electronics and metal.
He landed ,sword in relaxed position, in a position not unlike the ones you see in the old samurai movies. With a click of a button on it's cylinder , the light sword retreated into the cylinder. He calmly stood up and turned around and surveyed the damage. He shrugged. ' Well at least I stopped it before it killed them,' the teen declared as he surveyed the damage,' and if they died this place wouldn't be worth a single credit.' Or dollar or yen or gold piece, thought the boy as he chuckled at his own private joke.
He heard stone crunch beneath metal feet behind him. He turned around reaching into his coat with a right hand. He relaxed when he saw who it was, but he pulled something little when his hand left his military coat. My charges, he thought , have found me, smiling at the four female figures in hardsuits. The one in the white hardsuit stepped forward, ready to attack.
' What are you here ?' she asked , voice modifier distorting her voice just a bit.
' Pulling your ass out of the fire.' he responded as he turned around started to walk away.
' What do you mean by that ?'
' That boomer was a newly developed model. New weapons and new tricks. It's armor is damn well
near impenetrable by normal means. I knew where to hit it, you didn't. You could all be dead by now.'
' We have to admit it seems to be a new one, but that still doesn't explain what you did earlier. And the fact
that you took on a boomer without a hardsuit is another one. Who are you ? Who do you work for ?'
' Paralyzing your hardsuits was the only way to delay your meeting with the boomer, any other way you
would still have arrived too early for my taste. If that would have happened , dear little Nene would die
first, then Linna , then Priss then you, Sylia.' The boy had continued walking until he reached the wall
and turned around. He saw all four of the figures obviously dumbfounded by what they heard.
' Don't worry, young ladies. Your secret's safe with me. To answer your second question, technically I
work for you and my job is being your guardian angel. See you later Knight Sabers. By the way the
name's Trip. ' With this he clicked what seemingly looked like a stopwatch in his hand.
' Wait. What do you ?..' Saber-White moved to stop him but there was a flash of blue-white light and
the boy named Trip was gone from their sight.
' Sylia, he's not on the sensors! It's like he disappeared !' Sylia heard Nene on the intercom.
' What was all that about ?' asked a puzzled Priss to her boss.
' I don't know , but I'm betting we'll be seeing more of that fellow in the future.' Sylia said as they started to
go back to base.

In another place, in another time Lina Inverse was currently having a very bad day. A hailstorm of ice was sent directly toward her by the black robed figure. She succesfully rolled out of the way the barrage. Lina was getting angry. It was her ' time of the month ' and she wasn't able to cast any spells. And it had to be NOW that another world-conquering psycho decided to rear his ugly head. Gourry was the first
to be iced by the dark figure, Sword of Light with him in his icy prison.
' I don't need magic to kick your ass,' said Linna as she angrily rose from her
hiding place behind a rock and drawing her sword. ' I'll personally kick you from here to the other side of the world.' That was when she saw his henchmen approaching her , faces leering evilly at her. They attcked all at
once.
' Hey, no fair , you guys should attack one at a time ' said Lina as she quickly
dodged a sword thrust and skewering the offending swordsman with a stab of her own. She fought the best that
she could but since Gourry was the one who usually did this sort of thing for her , she was slowly being worn
down. Seeing her back into a wall, the figure in black cackled maniacally.' Lina Inverse , with you out of the way,
I, Vortigern , will be able to conquer the world with ease ! HAHAHAHA!'
'Tsk,Tsk. It's quite unfair for Ms. Inverse to try to beat you all at once. I dare say it's a display of bad manners.' Lina followed the gaze of her attackers when they stopped attacking her and looked at the figure that entered from the shadows. It was a man in his mid-twenties, a brown handlebar moustache growing nicely underneath his nose and the hairstyle of a gentleman. He was dressed in a way that Lina had never seen before . Shoes made of something shiny yet black , black pants, a coat that had buttons holding them together in the front , a piece of glass on his eye and what looked like an umbrella in his hand , though Lina had not seen an umbrella made of metal before.
'Now , my jolly chaps I think that what you need is to fight a man. Not fighting a girl. I am under the impression that only effeminate people do that. ' The man smiled as the insult made the
henchmen charge him, weapons wanting to bash his brains out.
After five minutes of the most incredible fighting Lina had ever seen and finding new uses for an umbrella , the man felled the last henchmen with a swing of his umbrella. ' A jolly good show chaps ! Jolly good show ! Hadn' t had that sort of workout in years.' said the man in an accent that Lina could not quite place. ' Now about you my dear fellow. ' said Lina's savior as he quickly interposed himself between Lina and Vortigern, World Conqueror Wannabe.
' Who dares foil my plans ?!' raved Vortigern as he glared at the man.
' The name is Sebastian. Better remember it since they'll ask who sent you to hell .' said the man
as he nonchalantly whirled his umbrella at his side.
' You shall die for such insolence !!! ' declared the black-robed wizard as he started to chant a complex spell. ' Is he troubling you, Madam ? His chanting is quite off key. ' asked the man before her ,pointing at Vortigern, smiling at the sorceress. ' Yes he is. ' responded Lina wondering what that meant.
' Then with your leave I think I should dispose of him.' with that the man looked at the figure and said two words. ' Take him.'
After he uttered those words , the wind started to rise in the cave. The wind seemed to be centered on Vortigern. He noticed it too, confused he continued with his chanting. Then Lina
saw them. They seemed to be white mist rising out of the ground. As the wind gained velocity the mist started to
coagulate into forms.Spirits, Lina thought as she covered her face from the dust rising up. The spirits circled around Vortigern faster and faster . Then they closed in. Lina could hear his screams as the spirits, following the command of her benefactor, took their prey.
She opened her eyes and she saw that the spirits were gone along with thier victim. The man who had helped her was already touching Gourry's icy cage with one hand blazing with supernatural fire. Gourry quickly thawed and collapsed on the floor. At thisher helper turned to regard her.
' Thanks for saving my life .' Lina started to thank the man.
' That's what a bodyguards for.' responded the man as he started to twirl his umbrella.
' What do you mean by that ? ' asked Lina.
' Nothing. I'll be seeing you again Lina.' said the man as his umbrella hit the cold stone floor of the cave making a burst of azure light that blinded Lina momentarily. When she could see again , she saw
that her benefactor had disappeared. ' That was weird. ' said Lina as she turned to wake Gourry up from
unconsciousness.

Dimensions away, Akane Tendo was getting really worried about her fiancee. He was currently fighting a demon, another one summoned by Happosai's faulty hedge magic. Ranma usually had to deal with this sort of thing a few times a year but this time it was different. The demon seemed to be above the usual sort that Happosai usually summoned. It was as fast and strong as Ranma.He was hardly able to dodge the lightning quick swipes the demon made at him with its clawed hands.
He had already tried the Kachuu Tenshin Amagurinken but the demon blocked every punch and then sent him flying with a backhand swipe. His Mouko Takashiba seemed to have an effect but Ranma was now too drained to use it. It seemed that he was going to die when he saw that he wouldn't
be able to avoid the razor-sharp claws of the beast. Akane saw the look on his face and she knew it too.
'NOOOOOO !!!!!'
Then a black blur moved in from above. The blur picked Ranma up out of the way of the descending claws and jumped upward. They disengaged in the air and Ranma landed in front of
Akane. ' Stay out of the fight. Let me take care of it.' Ranma heard from behind him as his savior landed behind him. The voice sounded a lot like Akane. That was when Ranma saw Akane's gaping mouth. He turned around and gasped.
His savior was a girl. She looked to be the same age he was, but that was not the remarkable thing about her. It was the fact that she seemed to be a mirror image of Akane when she still had long hair and her choice of clothes. She wore the same Chinese outfit that he loved wearing but in black.
She smiled at him. ' Let me finish the fight first before the questions. ' she said as she wheeled around to face the demon. She walked toward it, her arms shrugged in a show of boredom.
The demon was angry ,having been denied of his prey. Then he looked
at the one who stole it. He roared at the mortal's seeming arrogance , then he charged , claws moving forward for an attack.
Ranma gasped once again as he saw the Akane look-alike stand still when the demon attacked. He saw the claw mere inches away from her when he decided to help. Then she blurred
and disappeared. The demon roared once again in frustration, arching its back to roar at the heavens. Then
Akane's double blurred just before it's midsection. ' Kachuu tenshin Amagurinken !' she shouted as she let out a
flurry of punches. Ranma couldn't believe what he saw as she charged each punch of the Amagurinken with yellow chi.
The demon fell back under the relentless pummeling of chi-charged
fists. Singe marks were obvious on the demon's midsection. Then with a quick somersault , it's opponent senty both feet into it's solar plexus and jumped away swiftly.
The demon was visibly hurt from the attack as it tried to stand up from
the punishment it took. Ranma focused again on the mystery girl. She had her eyes closed and hands cupped before her hands and he could see a ball of energy form in front of it. The demon seeing this started to charge at her. The ball inflated to the same size as the woman. As the demon was about to reach her, the girl opened her eyes and let go of the blue ball of chi , shouting 'Mouko Takashiba'.
The beast screamed in pain as it was engulfed by the energy ball. After
it dispersed there was no sign of the demon but dust. ' That was incredible ! ' Ranma stared at disbelief at the girl
when she walked up to them. She smiled at him.
' My name is Mika.' she said ,stretching her hand out in friendship.
Akane looked at her suspiciously. ' It's not that we don't appreciate your help, but who are you anyway ? Another one of this dumb baka's fiancee's ?' pointing at Ranma.
' No, I'm what you could say be his protector.' said Mika withdrawing her hand noting that it wouldn't be shaken.She waved her hand in a show of saying goodbye. With that she became a blur and disappeared over the wall.
' What was that about ?' asked Akane.
' Don't know. I haven't seen her before either.' responded Ranma.
A mile away blue lightning struck the ground. There were no clouds in the sky.

Trip whistled to himself as he entered the near-full cafeteria of the HQ. Everyone in the cafeteria wore black. He saw that Sebastian was already having tea and reading a magazine at their usual table and decided to join him after he liberated a slice of chocolate cake from it's fellows. A platinum blonde waved at him from a nearby table. 'Hey , Trip , how're the Knight Sabers ? ' she asked biting into a sandwich that she was holding.
' They're fine, Kai. How about Sho and his friends ?'
' Had to bail him out when his Guyver unit malfunctioned. I can't believe how careless the kid can get.'
' You know those heroes , putting others before themselves. Well see ya. ' Trip said as she continued towards Sebastian and seated himself beside him. Sebastian looked up from his magazine.
' Trina told me she would be late for our repast. The Sailor senshi seem to be in deep trouble again.' he said to Trip as he took a sip of his tea. ' So, have you told ALICE that we were seen by our charges.'
' Yep, she told me not to worry , she'd restructure their memories.' Trip responded as he took a fork and started to eat the sumptuous cake. He didn't tell him that he also asked ALICE that the Knight Sabers remember him as a friend.
' Well, Trip, it seems that you want to become closer to your charges.' said Sebastian as he looked at him through his monocle. Trip nearly choked on the piece of cake he was eating.
'Tut,tut boy, you seem to have forgotten that I am a low-level telepath. You seem to be like the Romanova girl for her to pop up in my head. Don't worry I won't tell. ' Sebastian said while chuckling at the sight of his friend coughing to dislodge food from his airpipe.
' Hello guys ! ' they heard behind them as Mika somersaulted over them with a tray of sushi in hand, landing in her seat with incredible skill. ' Show off' muttered Trip as he took another bite of cake. 'So how are the loving couple. ' asked Sebastian referring to her charges. ' Happosai's demon got out of contol and I beat it up quite good. ALICE is already restructuring their memories and making sure Happosai won't repeat the spell. Where's Trina ?' asked Mika as she took a bite of sushi.
' Off helping Usagi out of another fine mess.' said Trip.
' Those girls can get into so much trouble at times. ' commented Mika.
' My friends ,Heroes are heroes we can do nothing about it. We can only save them from the trouble that they get
into so that they may fulfill Destiny.' said Sebastian as he finished off his tea.
' I'm just worried that's all. Our charges go running around saving the world and they present themselves to an
enormous amount of danger. What if we failed and they died ?' Mika pointed out with a chopstick.
' Then if their dimension falls to the Darkness, the Atropos units go in and blast that reality into smitheereens'
said Trip once again taking a bite of chocolate cake.
' That's what I mean. Why don't we just interfere directly ?'
' That's not how it works , Mika. The Weavings that make up the worlds are so complex that -' Sebastian was interrupted by the beeping on the holder of his umbrella. He held it in his hands and closed his eyes.' It seems Hikaru and her friends are going to need me in Cephiro. Well , Tata , see you later. ' he said as he saluted with his umbrella and disappeared with a flash of blue light.
Mika then received a tingling sensation as she closed her eyes.
' Asuka's going to crash her Evangelion unit , it seems. Bye Trip' she said as electricity gathered around her and lightning struck her spot, making Trip's hair stand on end and leaving her sushi burned on the table.
' I hate it when she does that.' Trip complained as he took another bite of cake as he smoothed his hair with one hand.He heard the ding-dong of his pocketwatch. ' What is it again ?' he said as he pulled out a antique gold watch. He closed his eyes and saw a young girl fighting a demon with
a sword and becoming skewered by one of the demon's attacks. ' Yohko's in trouble again. ' Trip said in resignation as he was about to click the watch. Then he looked at the cake. He picked up the plate and as he clicked the watch he said smiling ' Who said I can't have my cake and eat it too ? ' He disappeared in a blue flash off to save one of his charges again.

Well, that's my fic. I wanted to put in a Sailormoon section and a YuuYuuHakusho section but I ran out of ideas.
