OH yes.  There certainly are.  The entire run of "Thy Inward Love" comes to
mind...

"Thy Inward Love" was _depressing_...  You've _got_ to be kidding me. 
It had it's moments but it was no where near as dark as...well, "The
Bitter End"  Oh, and someone does die in "Thy Inward Love":  Cologne.
