Why not what most normal people would say to some weirdo coming into their
house asking them to make a wish: "I wish you'd just go away."

Then the god would be forced to just go away forever, not being able to do
anything else, always a wandering soul, never... Well, ok, maybe not. ^_^

Or, you could always go for "Wow, you're really a god! All that cool 
power and sisters and stuff. Sigh... I'm sick of my life, I wish I could
be you."

Bam, body swap. Put a time limit on it or something.

"I wish it would stop raining." One person complains. Bam, never rains there
again, disrupting the weather patterns of the world and causing a
drought in Botswana. Maybe not, eh?

Or howabout "I wish <character x> was real." Where character x is some
book or manga character, be it Ranma, Ryoko, or Sherlock Holmes. Or
they could wish for powered armour or something. How would a young kid
with a Gundam go down in the greater metropolitan area of Tokyo?

Wishee winces at American movie on tv, and, in an act of bravado, says
"Ha! Ripley's too soft on those aliens. I wish I had a chance to face
them, I'd show them what a PPG could do." Bam, instant Alien infestation. ^_-

"I wish I had a computer like this Yg(hell, I'm not even going to try
to spell it)." bam, some kid now owns the universe computer, with superuser
access. ^_^

The WAFF wish: a small child(WAFF choice: a girl), an orphan, wishes "I'm
so lonely, I just want to have parents again. I wish someone - you, even,
could be my parent, and adopt me out of this orphanage."

"I wish he'd shut up with these stupid wish ideas." And ba--
