GALL FORCE: finally, peace?
Chapter 1, HOME, a hassle

"It's only been six months", mused Lucy, "How can things change so 
much in such a short time?"

Three days after destroying the Solnoid equipment storage site, in French Polynesia, the group of thirteen women and ten men decided 
it was time to go home. They had flown all the heavy equipment half 
way 'round the World, but now they had to wait till dark to approach Lunenburg N.S.

They waited lest they attract attention to them selves and Mrs Ross, When they finally got all the equipment stored back in the hanger, 
they were all tired. The women went upstairs to their rooms and the 
men trudged over to their apartment building

As the guys walked to the building, they noticed a light in the living room and Derek moaned "Oh no, did we forget to tell Mrs Ross where we were going?."  

When they entered the living room there were three R.C.M.P. officers with Mrs Ross. The ranking officer, a Sergeant asked, "Where have you men been? Dalhousie University reported that you all vanished without warning." The students looked at each other in shock. 
"Further more, the Lunenburg Secondary Vocational School is missing 
two students, would you just happen to know where they are?"

Mrs Ross added "The Park Service called five times, asking about Patty, Rachel and Sarah". Derek slowly nodded "We really are sorry about all this but we, uh, had to go help the U.N. with a little problem, If you call this woman, she should be able to verify my story". With that, he gave the Sergeant the phone number for Catty Nebulart. Mrs Ross and the officers looked shocked and the Corporal added "We'll check into this but in the meantime, we will need to detain you, pending our findings 
of course.  Now, do you know where the women are?"

The students exchanged quick glances and nodded Chet said "Yes, we know where they are however, I think it would be best if one of us talks to them first, I can promise you that they'll make no attempt to escape".

Oskar added "You might also want to call for a bus to transport us all, there are Eighteen of us". The officers agreed and followed the men 
back outside, The Sergeant said "I don't remember this being here before", as he gazed at the hanger. Being that the apartments were 
off by themselves, on a semi-private dirt road, this was not too 
surprising.

Chet and one of the Corporals entered the hanger and moved to the 
spiral staircase. Chet banged on the railing with a metal bar that 
hung there for that purpose. 

Amy's face appeared as she asked "Who is it?, Oh hi Chet, lemme get Rachel" and she disappeared, the men heard voices overhead, then 
Rachel came down the stairs and asked "Chet, is there something 
wrong?", then she saw the R.C.M.P. officer "Oh dear, I guess there 
is" 

The officer explained the problem and started to relate the complications for the whole group, "wait, wait, why don't you let me 
go upstairs and call everyone together so you wont have to repeat yourself" Rachel begged as Chet looked alarmed, "It's okay Chet, I 
don't think there will be a problem"

Rachel returned to the second floor and calls everyone's attention 
and explained that a man will be here in a moment to talk about a problem that had come up "but it's late, can they come back in the morning?" Sarah asked. 

Rachel said "I really think we should listen to what he has to say" 
The women all nodded and Rachel called down to the Corporal that he could come up now. The officer was surprised to see TEN women looking 
at him and then told them why he was here and what he needed to do, 
The women glanced at each other and Eleanor offered "I suggest we 
agree to go with the officers". Cathy piped up "If Derek gave the sergeant my mother's number and they call her. We'll be out in no 
time, 
no questions asked"


He then led them back to the apartment, where the Sergeant and the other's are waiting "Well you are right, son, we will need a large vehicle". The Sergeant called for the bus on his radio and then they 
all moved back inside to wait, Mrs Ross had made coffee and laid out some cheese and crackers for snacks, "I expect that you all could use something to eat" she said. 

There are thanks all around as the group take coffee cups and snacks 
and find places to sit, Most of the women choosing to sit close to the male with whom they were most comfortable.

The hum of conversation from the men was about forgetting to tell someone they would be gone. The trouble they were currently in could have been avoided

Rachel was still wondering what was the matter and asked Chat "but 
what did we do wrong?, I mean, okay so we all disappeared for a few days. Is that a criminal act on this planet?." 

Chat replied "well, Amy and Miti are underage, no one told the schools that they'd be absent at all, the same goes for us guys, people were just worried, thats all. After the police call Catty Nebulart 
everything should be okay"

Eleanor commented to Oskar "Really, it's all right, we are as much to blame as you, running off to fight a battle that should never have 
been needed if all "our" sisters had laid the old war to rest" Then, thinking of something more, she quickly wrote out a short note.

Derek was apologizing to Lucy for messing up so badly "I mean going 
off without telling any one, that's really stupid", Lucy wraps her 
arms around him, whispered in his ear "Charging into the battle 
before thinking is my job, I'll have you know" and then kissed him


Fifteen minutes later the bus arrived and the officers guided the 
group aboard as Mrs Ross looked on in shock, Eleanor turned to her, bowed and said "We are truly sorry to bring this trouble to your 
home, when we return, We shall do all that is needed of us" and 
then she handed Mrs Ross a note.

Mrs Ross watched the bus pull away, worried about all of them, 
standing in the dark. she then goes up on to the porch to read 
the note:

          Dear Mrs Ross

                   "There are three people still in the hanger. 
Denise, Cathy's friend, Darlene, one of Patty's new friends and a man named Born. he is looks like Patty, however he is new to the planet, please take care of him until our return.                                                                                                                             Your Friend
                                           Eleanor

Mrs Ross gasped and ran over to the hanger to find the people waiting downstairs. she then asked if they needed anything. Denise and Darlene both declined the offer and Darlene told Mrs Ross to tell Patty that 
she has to think things through but that she will come back in a day 
or two

Mrs Ross bids both women good night and then turned to the man named Born and said "Well, Born, I have nine aliens living here, I might as well make it ten, do you need anything to eat right now?". 

Born looked at the older woman and asked "you mean that you know the solnoids weren't birthed on this planet?". she looked puzzled for a moment and then replied "oh, you mean born here, on earth?, yes, I 
know that"

Mrs Ross took Born's arm and led him back to the apartments "I'll 
tell you all I know about what has happened since they got here, 
okay?" she stated

In their cell's, separated by gender, the groups waited out the night. in the womens cell there was: Lucy Atkinson, Eleanor Rubenstein, 
Patty Scudder, Rachel Ludwig, Sarah Smith, Amy Clark, "Miti" Anderson, 
Shelly Trimble, Mary Ann Louis (or MAL, as she liked to be called), Cathy Ross and Catty 

On the mens side there was, Derek Slater, Philip Chatterly, Akira Takada, Leonard Porter, Maurice Foch, Oskar Bernstein, Dave Holland, Steve Calhoun and Jack Rice

The next morning, the Sergeant told the Captain  of last night "And 
you believe them?" the Captain asked "well, Sir, I did call that 
number they gave us and it IS a direct line to the U.N. office of a Catty Nebulart" the Sergeant replied

"I see, well let me have the number and I'll contact Ms Nebulart myself"
the Captain said and the Sergeant read it off for him and then exited the office. Alone the officer dialed the number and waited for an answer.

"ah, hello, this is Captain Stammel of the RCMP in Nova Scotia calling, am I talking to a Catty Nebulart? I am?, oh good. Ms Nebulart, I have have in my Jail a group of eighteen people, who claim that they have been on a mission for the U.N."

"You do?, well, let me look" he picked up a paper from the pile on his desk "yes , yes those are the names, so you can confirm that these people did do a job for the U.N., yes, I can see where that might 
lead but I did need to check out their story, thank you very much for your time, goodbye" and he puts the handset back down

He sat for a moment, then called out "SERGEANT" and the officer re-entered the office "Yes sir" he stated and the Captain said "Release 
the people that were taken into custody last night and give them a lift back home, right away", the Sergeant saluted and then left to follow 
his orders

Lucy and Miti wake to the sounds of the door to the holding area
opening and wake the others in time to hear the Sergeant say, as he unlocks the cell doors, "you'll free to go, if you wish, a ride back will be provided". They decided to take the offer of a ride and thank the Sergeant

After returning to the apartment building the group seeks out Mrs Ross and asked her if there is any thing wrong, "Well, Darlene ran off last night, saying that she needed to sort things out and that she will be back" Mrs Ross replied. 

Patty looked worried at the news but then nodded. Catty commented "I need to go to New York to talk with Mother" by this she meant Catty Nebulart "Cathy, will you come with me?, I have an idea on how to 
repair all our sisters but I would like your help, please?"

Cathy nods to her older sister and then writes a note to Denise, explaining where she has gone and why, asking Denise to please join 
them in New York when she can
