Yes, I'm being pushy.  The more votes we get, the better.  However, I 
always state my requests politely.  I never insist.

They make this whole thing sound like the election for leader

How so, exactly?  We want your vote, but we never pretend that the 
results will mean anything to the world at large.

Maybe if they had nominated one of my fics I would have voted.
Oh well.

We don't "nominate" fics.  All fics placed in the raac archive are 
eligible.  All you have to do is post your story to raac and it will be 
in the poll next quarter.
