Honestly, what good is a Guardian Angel if it can't stop you from
destroing your life?  If I have a Guardian Angel, I hope mine is the
defiant type.  The LightBringer, as done by Neil Gaiman, wouldn't be
that bad.

       I think I have the toughest job in the heavens.  I am Ikari
Shinji's Guardian Angel.  It wouldn't be so bad, if he didn't into that
giant purple golem all the time.  I can't watch over him when he's in
that.  I tried to once, and people started shouting about a 'Blue
Pattern', and tried to kill Shinji.  By the time I figured out it was
me causing the said pattern, Shinji needed to be hospitalized for a
month.

       Hmmmm....  Maybe if I stand close enough to Gendo...
