According to my sources, not that I have sources but if I did they
would have told me this, actually a few friends told me this. Apparently
MTV has plans to show Evangelion as a TV series...
	Now I know what you're asking can I be trusted, or am I calling wolf? I
just found out about this today, and here is the story.
	There is a store in town called MAgnum Opus, the best anime store in
America, IMHO, anyway, the ower was at the register when this girl
walked in and she saw either the EVA poster under the cash register or
the EVA's in the rental section and said, "I just recorded a voice for
that."
	So naturally Chris asked "You work for ADV?"
	"Oh, no," she answered, "I did it for MTV."
	Well, Chris was flustered by this and quickly called Rob, the video
distributer we all work with here in West Michigan, and he didn't know
anything about this little, as if EVA on TV can be called little, thing
and so called his contacts over at ADV. The guy at ADV said that ADV has
the rights to only produce EVA on video and that MTV had gotten the
rights for the EVA television showing in America.
	Unfortunately this is as far as my knowledge goes at the moment, except
it was supposedly supposed to be out this fall on MTV, although we've
heard nothing about it. I did hear one other thing though. MTV plans to
redo the opening song... I suggest you email mtv .. something like
MTV@aol.com, and telll them that all die hard EVA fans would kill them
for that.
	But that is only a small concern. EVA on MTV is a much bigger one.
Well, I hope I'm not just announcing stuff everyone knows. And I'm sorry
if I am. Personally I hope this is all true because I can't wait to see
EVA as a TV series insetad of solidly on video... besides this might be
a new wave of anime infiltrating America. who knows, maybe Escaflowne or
Ranma, I doubt MTV would pick this up, would become the next series to
appear on MTV. we can only hope...
