The fifth type? The non-fanfic fanfic writer.
In this case, the story takes so much precedence that
the line between fan-fiction and simple fiction has
blurred to near non-existence. That's me. That's
probably thanks to my attempts at fiction prior to
my involvement in anime...11 years old I probably started
writing, albeit very poorly. One could only imagine.
But, the story can often makeup for the lack of the
involvement of the "fan" part of the fiction. I've
seen it done before...for example, Richard Taylor's
"Wen Kamui" if anyone here happens to be a NeoGeo-philiac.
Anyways...time to go...
