I *really* like the three types there . . . I'm going to hang onto this.
My question, though, is whether you can think of any cases - on the
Internet or in the library or bookstore - when the author uses more than
one of these methods at once. The masterpiece, I think, would be the work
which uses all three techniques.

	Exactly. And like I said, I think that Terry Pratchett's the one
who's been able to pull off all three in his Discworld books. I mean, the
individual novels themselves are epic, and when one takes the entire
series--19 books and counting--then, yeah. Plus, he's a master wordsmith.
It's the reason I keep re-reading his books--'cos his prose is crafted in
such an excellent manner. He's so funny, it scares me. His style is also
the one I fashion NGEjd after. And he can paint moods very well, also. The
imagery of fog in _Feet of Clay_, for example, is just beautiful.

Gee . . . now I feel like *I'm* ready to go back to writing. Now, let's
see if I can find that @&#%*^% disk. -.-
