Hi...I just came on this ML er...yesterday...but
I have a few questions. Not pertaining to this ML,
mind you...but to the actual attack of the fiction.

-) Is it truly viable to create an extremely serious
work of fiction while still remaining true to the
   characters of...BSSM? Yeah...let me elaborate.

Using the Sailor Moon universe, I've added the idea
of other reincarnations of the people of the Silver
Millenium who regained memory. They create another
world. And it exists right now. Right under our
noses.

This world is an extremely large world. Population
of it rivals the United States...and it has more
surface area.

Within this population I introduce the idea of the
resurgence of an idea among the people to find
Neo-Queen Serenity. Or a suitable fascimille.
As we learn later on, some time ago, they have chosen
to go along with the latter option. And this fails
miserably. So the people want the real thing.

As does the appointed leader.

Pretty straight forward eh? Well, I wouldn't question
it myself I didn't have this other element I wanted
to include in the story.

 - This story borders on being religion backed.
It's faith in lieu of technology and in the
face of technology. Intangible versus the
tangible. And, in the terms which I create,
   discrete good versus inheret evil.

 - Added to this is sort of attacking of racism.
The exploitation of those who are in tune with
what they do have faith in, rather than those
   who believe in something.

 - Then the second of the racism issues. There are
two types of people who are present in this
   fanfic/novel/novella/fantasy...

   - The person who holds energy. They create the
means to what is known as magic. They include
Serenity's father (in his present reincarnation.)
     A highly NEUTRAL being.

   - The person through whom energy flows. These
people are, in all pragatic terms, creators and
destroyers. Many people are forced to become
this type of person in this other world. (Please
notice that I haven't stated a physical placement
of this world. Which means, don't assume it is
     entirely physical...yet.)

 - The racism occurs because of the idea of the forcing
of creation of "energy conduits." Numbers do not
become proportional to each other. The exploitation
is that of the people who hold energy. Who create
   magic.

In my opinion, these are two very serious ideas which
I constantly am making reference to in my first three
chapters. Unification of the true story on all levels
is what I am trying to achieve. BUT, I've never seen
anything like this. I am not really an experienced
fanfic writer, but I've written many novellas; I'd
like to know why I do not see anything like this
neither achieved nor attempted. Perhaps it is because
I do not search hard enough for these stories?

-) Is it useful to use main characters from anime and
allow their characters to be altered OVER THE TIME
OF THE STORY in order to conform to ideas which
are neccessary for the development of main characters
who are outside of the anime series?

Here, the problem is with Hirasawa Hajime, Chiba Mamoru,
and Tsukino Usagi. The first two, as you might guess,
are my own character creations...you probably won't get
what I'm trying to say with the first name; let's just
say it has to do with music.

But anyways, Hajime is a reincarnation of Usagi's brother.
Just imagine the possibilities: yours are probably much
wilder than the ones which I've planned, so I'll leave you to
that. What do you think?

Actually...I also introduce Kaibou...his name means "protector."
Guess who he's related to... :)

That's all for now...so far, this mailing list has proven
most edifying...and it is only the first day! ^_^

Alas, methinks the capricious zephyr hath more design than
I. Faith, I shall leave this place forthwith. By my troth,
I am off!
