It surprises me how many people get upset with the suggestion that the
Kunos may be "stupid".  In truth, the Kunos are nothing more than
caricatures for the snobbish ignorance of the rich in Japan.  People who
put themselves above everyone else because of birth, social status and
money.  Their idiocy is supposed to make people feel better about NOT being
in that class.  And thats really all it comes down to.
