That's the best reason in the book for doing anything.

Please.  No more of this, okay?  If you don't like a certain genre of
fanfiction, don't read it, but don't give into the self-righteous desire
to try and impose that particular view on others.  It only stirs up
anger and hard feelings, and you won't change anyone's mind.

I couldn't agree more. I remember about 6 months ago when a similar
argument was started on this list. I said at the time, and It's an argument
I use a lot when the issue of censorship comes up on any media: If you
don't like what you're watching / reading / looking at, stop, switch off or
whatever, noone is forcing you!

Let's stop picking at each other, and instead enjoy this remarkably
unique venue for writing and reading stories that, otherwise, we would
never get to see.
