This is just too good not to follow up!Why not have Akane say in the
beginning of the phone call that she's watching the show as they
talk (so she call yell at him while he's being kissed).  That's a
classic Ranma 1/2 situation.  (unless Real World isn't being sent
out live).

Why BBQ?If you must grill, then why not yakitori or katsu-tori?

Doh!  Good point.  Guess I put down 'bbq' as a reflex, being
stuck here in damned Texas too long :P

   Nuku sniffed at the grill and its assortment of meats.  Then she
blinked.  "Fish?" she asked.
   "Yeah, that one's fish," answered Kyosuke, " but I don't think it's

done ye-"
   She ate the fish.
   "-et.  Um..."
   "It was good!  Thanks!" said Nuku happily.

I realize it's cliche and you've already established it as
hercharacter in previous episodes, but cats *will* eat other meats
besides fish. 

And in the Nuku anime, they've also gone with that cliche.

KYOSUKE:  Slap you around when it isn't your fault!
ALL:  Women!

Uh...while Ataru and Ranma might have legitimate points,most of
Kyosuke's "slaps" come when it *is* his fault.

Hrm...

KYOSUKE: Don't give you a chance to explain when they slap you!
