A while ago, I published a timeline for my Together Again
"universe" of stories. One of my regular readers commented that it was
interesting, but somewhat hard to understand, and he suggested that I work
up some family trees to explain things.
I love family trees ... two of my favorite works of mythographic
literature (a fancy term for professionally published crossover fanfic)
are Philip Jose Farmer's "Tarzan Alive" and "Doc Savage: His Apocalyptic
Life", both of which try to tie many of the detectives and adventurers of
fiction into a single family, descending from a group of English
aristocrats exposed to the oxidation of a meteor. (I am not making this
up.) So I embraced the project of the Together Again Genealogical Tables
with a vengeance, and here is what I have to date.
(Before anyone asks: Yes, the family names of the Lovely Angels
are a homage to Undocumented Features. They are also homages to *other*
things. If you figure them out, let me know ...)

[1] This is a case of me taking something that Sonoda did in Gunsmith Cats
(namely including a character who looks JUST LIKE Lufy of Gall Force) and
running with it. Riff-Raff is also Lufy's dead ringer that we see in the
final scenes of "Gall Force: Eternal Story". She is, probably, Lufy's
reincarnation in a genetic sense. Spiritually? Maybe.
[2] Izumi Noa's mother was a distant cousin of Saotome Nodoka, mother of
Saotome Ranma.
[3] A child was born to Asuma and Noa's fourteen year old daughter; the
girl was placed up for adoption, being taken in by a childless Newport
(Hong Kong) family, and given the name Leona Ozaki.
[4] Richard McNichols was the grandson of a first cousin of Charles
McNichols.
[5] Nikaidou Yoriko was a distant cousin of Nikaidou Nozumo, a resident of
Maison Ikkoku during Godai and Kyoko's "courtship".
[6] I don't care about destiny, two second cousins wouldn't look that much
alike. I am unsure what having the same grandfather and father (NOT
related) makes them (half-sisters, at least), but it satisfies my need for
symnetry.
[7] In both these cases, many more children were born to the families
involved than are listed here.
