Zen can see just a couple of flaws with this theory:
1) "P-chan" has already demonstrated that he is a strong swimmer. He has
even rescued Akane on a couple of occasions. His drowning is... unlikely.
Ryouga was pulled under by the Jusenkyou spring. Besides, it woldn't be
inconceivable to say that anything that enters a non-cursed spring
instantly drowns, no matter how good a swimmer they are.
2) This little fabrication would require Ranma's cooperation... and since
it is hardly an honourable plan, Zen doubts that he'd get it. It'd make
things really rough on Ranma for a while, til Akane finally caught on, but
in the end...
Helping Ryouga out of a tight spot would be honorable. As for why Ranma
would do it, it could be to get P-Chan to stop sleeping with Akane.
3) In the end, if Akane found out about this lie, and the other... well,
it would have been ugly enough if she'd just found out he was P-chan. To
find out the truth after THIS little stunt... Ryouga would be **such** a
greasy spot... <<shudder>>
Who knows about Ryouga's curse? Mousse, Ranma, Genma, Soun, and Akari.
Mousse gains nothing by revealing it. Ranma has already sworn not to tell.
Genma and Soun have both seen him change into P-Chan and back, but have
not told Akane for some reason. Akari has no reason to tell anyone that he
had the curse before, either. Plus, nobody has any concrete proof that he
had it before.
On the whole, Zen thinks it would be a dangerous idea for Ryouga.
Dangerous, yes. Interesting, too.
