After having been MSTed I'm leary to continue posting this to the list.
Typically being MSTed signifies that a fic isn't very good and I think can
have somewhat negatives effects on readership, as it will be taken as
worthless pile of nonsense. I'll see what my co-author thinks.
No, that's not true. Not at all. It's true for the _original_
MST3k, where the sci-fi movies that they do are general atrocious B or
C grade productions. However, being MSTed here is usually a _good_ thing.
It means that someone thought enough of a fic to take the time to do a
humorous and _time consuming_ review of it. Yes, it does take longer than
a normal C&C.
Case in point: ^_^ sorry to become suddenly egotistical--but I've
released three parts of Evanjellydonut, and received six separate MST's on
it--one for part 1, one for part 2, and four for part 3. And they've all
been from people who like Evanjellydonut. Admittedly, one of the reasons
that part 3 got so many is that it _did_ need some work--particularly
character development--but still, the reviewers liked it. And they said so
in the review. So, don't assume such a silly thing--for the most part, the
opposite is true.
