An author is threating to pull out after getting MSTed.



I'd have to say, feel free to go then.  I would much rather see a cull of

thiner skinned authors than any reduction in the tiny flow of marginally

useful commentary.



I wish you'd take a bit to think it over first.  MSTing isn't about you or

your story really.  It's mostly about the reviewer and their agenda.



I got MSTed once, as an excuse for the reviewer to push a "gay rights"

agenda, and this was in response to one of my weakest "homo-suggestive"

works.  (A third character wondered if two girls were involved.)

(Personally I believe in the rights of individuals, but read my fics for

the details.  And I'll still write "under the gopher" if that rodent

returns)



You might think that this is a terrible abuse of the art-form that

Joel-sama came up with.  No, not really.  From the start, MST3K has been

about what the writers of that show thought up and has always had very

little to do with the movies "under review".
