I'm back. As I said before I left, there's a general ammesty to all spam
made while I was away. I'm told you didn't do too badly, aside from a few
initial threads and a character debate.

I will be reposting a (hopefully) clear and consise definition of the spam
policy in an effort to be "kinder and gentler".  I'll begin by quashing
the notion that I ban people for spamming. Permanent bans are only levied
in two instances - for extremely offensive flames on the list, for chain
letters/commercial solititation. Tempbans are levied for the above, or for
sending test messages or putting up a spam pole (a post in which the
author urges the list to spam on a non-fanfic topic. Example: "Who is
better, Ukyou or Akane? Tell the list what you think!"). In every other
instance, I will at least warn you once. Often I'll give warnings fo the
above before resorting to a ban.

A caveat: WW, as list owner, retains the right to ban whoever he feels
like whenever he pleases, with or without warning. The above is simply the
rules I go by.
