Ranma cackled as he leapt away from the Nekohanten, grasping a jar
of forgetfulness shampoo in one hand and a vial of Nyannichuan in the
other. No matter what he had told Akane, the truth was that Ranma
knew exactly what kind of wife he wanted to have. She had to be
cute, and feminine, and a good cook, and sweet, and considerate, and
concerned without being smothering. Basically, she had to be just
like his mother, except without the katana. And now that he was free
of the engagement, he could finally do something about it.
Ranma reached the Saotome household within the hour. "Mom?" he
called, opening the door and stepping inside.
"Ranma?" Nodoka said, rushing into the front room to hug her son.
"How nice of you to stop by."
Nodoka tried to break the embrace, but found she couldn't; Ranma's
arms held her steadfast. "Sorry, mom," he said. Nodoka felt
something cold and wet begin to soak her hair.

A young red-headed girl woke up in a cramped bus seat about two
hours later. She looked about her uncertainly; what was she doing
there?
"Nodoka?" a voice said. She stared. Nodoka? Was that her? "Are
you awake?"
"Who are you?" she said, turning to stare at the young man sitting
next to her. He was remarkably handsome.
"Don't you remember?" he said. "It's me,. Ranma."
"I don't remember anything," she said, a sudden horror washing over
her.
"You must have amnesia," Ranma said. He sounded remarkably calm
about it; almost happy.
"Oh, no," Nodoka said. She looked at Ranma again. "Who are you?
Are we -- " She blushed prettily.
"We have a very close relationship," Ranma said.
"Oh." Nodoka glanced at her surroundings again. The bus was
speeding down the highway. "Where are we going?"
"Away from Nerima," Ranma said. "Darling," he added a minute later.

Yikes! Now there are two stories that put Ranma and Nodoka together!
The horror! THE HORROR!!
Just kidding. Actually your continuation was very creative and unique.
Having Ranma use the spring water on her was a nice touch. It was well
written and I liked it. Keep up the good work.

P.S. Anybody up to writing a lemon continuation for this? ;)
