This story is *neat*. ^_^
I like the first ending better. Never seen that idea before. And
that's good - a true rarity in Ranma fanfiction.
As for a way to suggest that this has all happened many times before,
how about something like this:
The ceremony progressed rapidly, as all the trappings of Western
religion were absent, leaving only the wedding.
The minister was about to ask Ranma for his vows when it happened.
A soft thud in the back of the chapel. A louder <BANG>. Then the inner
door smacked open. <SLAM!> "RANMA SAOTOME! HOW DARE YOU..."
The gathered guests all sighed. Soun covered his eyes and shook his
head. Nabiki opened her ledger book and added a tally stroke halfway
down a page. Nodoka rubbed her temples with her forefingers, mumbling
under her breath.
Ranma gave his bride a weak smile. Akane giggled, and patted his
shoulder. "Next time."
I do have to say that this is one of the better one-page fanfics I've
ever seen. Proof that brevity does not mean an absence of an original,
well-presented, *finished* story. :)
