You know, now that I think of it, I've been wondering for a

while how the alternate Ryoga got engaged to Nabiki in "Ryoga
Crossover."  And I've got an idea for how it started:<<

Pity, that wasn't and won't be the case (Unless Mark forgot what he wrote 
himself). In his story, the first fight between Ranma and Ryoga goes the 
same as it does in the standard storyline. But Royga calls it off after 
seeing Ranma's curse. Then he goes to the Dojo at night and they fight 
again.
But this time Ranma carries a girl into the Dojo who has been knocked out 
by Akane- a girl with striking similarities to Ryoga. Nabiki also sees this 
and pours hot water on her, instant Ryoga.
It's all in the story.
