Anyway, why not Ryoga and...Nabiki?

[ Ryoga sits motionless on the roof of the Tendo dojo.  He looks
unimaginatively at the urban horizon while the sun slowly starts its nightly
voyage out of Nerima's sky.  Below,  Nabiki suddenly walks out the house and
looks up to Ryoga.]

Nabiki:  Oh, Hibiki-san.  It's time.  The ceremony is about to start.

[Ryoga sighs before jumping off]

Ryoga: Thanks Nabiki.

Nabiki: [extending a hand] Um, Ryoga. [a devilish grin beams across her
face]

Ryoga: [digs through his pocket and hands over a 1000 yen bill] Here you
go...Nabiki. [sadly he stares as Nabiki's excitedly grabs the money off his
hands]

Nabiki: [pockets the bill] Thank you Ryoga.  I'm sure that everything will
work out for the best.

Ryoga: Yeah. [scornfully looks down] I hope I'd be rid of this curse for
good.   And so will Ranma with his.  Then he and Akane can...[sighs] get on
with their lives.

Nabiki: [thinks] Poor Ryoga. [places hand on Ryoga's shoulder and deftly
kisses him on the cheek hoping to cheer him up] [speaks] You'll be all
right. [walks away]

Ryoga: [surprised] [thinks] Nabiki?  She's not a bad person, after all.  I
wonder if she's interested?

Nabiki: [thinks] Poor Ryoga.   He has so many things going against him...and
not a shoulder to cry on.  [disappears inside the house with Ryoga following
a while later]

[Suddenly a thunder clap is heard over the darkening sky]

Ryoga: Is it going to rain? [looks briefly outside but chukles a bit] Hey!
What am I afraid of, I'm cured. [smiles at Nabiki]

Nabiki: [smiles back] I'm glad that you're happy Ryoga.

Ryouga: [approaches Nabiki and gives her a huge kiss] I'm overjoyed that
you're happy about me.

Nabiki: [shocked] [thinks] I don't believe it! He just kissed me. [speaks]
I'm so embarrassed. [turning red in embarassment]

Ranma: [blinks] [whispers to Akane] Did you see that?

Akane: Yeah, but I can't believe it.  Do you suppose...[looks at each
other]

Ranma & Akane:  Naah!

[Several hours pass and the training hall has been rebuilt]

Ranma: Wow, it even looks better than before.

Nabiki: [looks at Ranma] That's because there are no more boarded up holes
on the walls. [grins]

Akane: [giggles] I knew there was something missing.

Kasumi: Dinner's ready!

Ryoga: This has been a long...day! [walks towards the training hall]

Nabiki: [grabs the wayward Ryoga] This way.

Ryouga: [smiles] Just checking.

Nabiki: [blinks] Huh? You mean...[turns red in embarrassment]

Ryouga: Hai! I was also cured of my navigational problems. [gives Nabiki a
slight kiss on the cheek]

Nabiki: [walks with Ryoga] I'm so embarrassed.

Ranma: [stares at Nabiki and Ryouga then to Akane] I thought...

Akane: Yeah, me too. [looks in disbelief]
