humm.. i'm not quite sure how to take this but i'll take it as a
positive sign that my story affected you. 

        Personally, I've always believed that Ukyo can be entirely
stubborn at times.  She first met Ranma in a ten year old fit of rage, but
fell in love with him after he muttered one word. I believe that the word
"friend" would have the same effect on her, in that it would serve to

that it hadn't been his fault.  In my opinion she's always lived her
life for him and all she needed for him was to accept her in some
manner.  Look at how easily she folded when all he said was she was
cute.  In fact this could be a sign of incredibily low self esteem.

believe that it is possible to for her to become an alcoholic spermbank, I
find it unlikely.

some people react differently i suppose.  Perhaps my vision of her is a
little extreme or on the lemony side but exactly how much loss can one
person take.  Although i dont necessarily think she is an alcholic. 
Another question that i ask myself are her motives for being his friend,
is she being completely selfless or does she act his friend in hopes of
it bringing the two of them closer?  Mind you though, that i only have
experience with ukyou through the released anime and the manga from viz
so there may be more to her then i know so far.

        That being said, I must admit that I find your writing style to be
very appropriate for the plot.  You give glimmers of hope throughout, but
they always lead to depression.  You certainly left me sad right

Significant which should be done by early next week.

You

have to give the reader some emotion in the end, not the completely
emotionless Ryoga saving Ukyo and she runs away.  I was left sitting at my
computer thinking, "Was that a sad ending? No. Was that a happy ending?
No."  It was just an ending. Were you to either revise the ending or 

actually i was kinda hoping for a cliff hanger :) what will ryouga do
now that he knows what Ukyou's up to.

a sequal, this would be, at least, fic of the quarter.
