Yeah, I agree.  (Just so you know, as undoubtedly _some_ people won't
agree. :)

Let's see now... at this point in the series (and taking this story as
true), Akane has done what?

1) Refused to go out with Kuno.
2) Defended herself against a crowd of attackers.
3) Refused to go out with Hiroshi.
4) Received the leading female role in Ranma 1/2 (well, the leading
always-female role), thus consigning supporting cast member Ukyo Kuonji
to a destiny where she will inevitably be denied the man she wants.

Which of these is it that bothers you? (As if I didn't know...) 

One small complaint, though.  Some of the punctuation marks (most notably
the quotation marks and apostrophes) are not encoded in standard ASCII.
On my system, they're displaying as funky international characters.

Mine too. Directional quotes often don't show up in E-mail; use "neutral
quotes" instead.
