Okay, there is actually a canon reason why the Ranma cast gets a breast 
enlargement.  They simply weren't big enough for the Gainax Bounce (tm).

But Gainax didn't do Ranma, I can hear some of you saying.  The rest of 
you know that they did, and are smirking wildly. ;>

If you fast forward through one of the OAVs, when you get to the end 
credits, pause it and look under animators.  Sure enough, Gainax is 
there.  And anyone who has seen Gunbuster knows the Gainax Bounce (tm). 
 I'm pretty sure that they also helped with the movies and the Super 
OAVs.

And that is why the Ranma crew's Breasts grew.
