Ranma: Huh...interesting premise.  Weird rain falls down and everyone except 
me goes screwy. I kinda like that.

Ryoga: Yeah. And not bad written in one day. (Begins humming a little tune
to himself).

Ranma: But who is this mysterious person who claims that I'm the hope for
humanity? I'm not much for the X-files, but it looks like whoever knocked me
out (and was able to do it to me, of all people) knows a lot more of the
story. Looks like we get to watch and see.

Ryoga: ...o/~Purple rain...purple rain...o/~

Ranma: Akane's symptoms are so cute, but Kasumi's are hysterical! And what
was Nabiki's symptons? Man, I wanna know. And I gotta see how Pop and Mom
were affected. That'll be funny, I bet. What d'ya think, Ryoga?

(Ryoga suddenly leaps out of his seat and whips out a microphone. A
spotlight shines down on him and he strikes a sexy pose.)

Ryoga: OWWWWooooOWWWWW!!! o/~Purple Rain! Purple Rain!....Purple Rain!
Purple Rain!...Purple Rain! Purple Rain! I only wanna see you, dahling, in
the Purple Rain!o/~

(He belts out a few more shrieks, bows, and sits back down.)

Ryoga: I'm sorry, what was the question?

(Ranma stares at him.)

Ryoga: Oh, come on.  Don't tell me that wasn't the first thing that entered
your mind when you saw that?

Ranma: ...

Ryoga: Hey, just because I have a grudge against the world with most of it
geared towards you doesn't mean that I'm musically illiterate. I happen to
like some of Prince's music, okay?

Ranma: You sure you haven't gotten splashed by that purple rain while
reading this fic?

Ryoga: Look, if you're going to be that way, I can sing the entire Purple
Rain album for you.

Ranma: Uh, no. What if you just beat me up instead?

Ryoga: (grins) Heh. Too late. (whips out a microphone and begins singing
"When Doves Cry")

Ranma: Help me. Oh God, help me.
