This poem is straight from the heart...I hope you understand if it
doesn't rhyme...

Also, it is the first thing I'll have written from my point of view,
about someone else.

   Tammy's Song

I met you when you were young,
Nearly six months old,
You meant the world to me back then,
I miss you...so cold.

You held my heart,
Kept me from doing stupid things,
Protected me from the world,
Yet held me aloft, to be with it as well.

You were there for me,
Fifteen years worth,
I miss you now,
And forever.

You hold my heart,
In your furry little paws,
I'll miss you forever,
I'll never forget.

I told you my stories,
My secrets, My desires,
You were the heart of my poems,
You were in some of them, too.

I'll miss you forever,
Forever, and beyond,
I hope you feel better now,
Away from pain and hate.

I miss you Tammy...
Please don't forget me.
