In the manga they die, but I'm not sure if they were killed by the bad
guy's or the Senshi. I'll have to take a look at that volume when I get
home.

It isn't suprising though, the manga can be very tough on the bad guy's.
Nephrina was killed off in the end of Super S, where she's given a second
chance in the anime...
