But, if your story installment is pretty big (100k or more) it might be
worth considering sending it as an attachment so that the FFML isn't
flooded with several chunks of your story. It could be argued that sending
a 100k attachment is the same thing as sending several pieces of your story
installment when comparing file sizes, but I have noticed that people seem
to take offense more to the several pieces method. The sheer jump in
quantity of emails can be over whelming and instinctively annoying.

  There is a simple reason why people have a tendancy to dislike split
files..
there is no guarantee that all of the parts will make it through.  I've
even
seen this happen on R.A.A.C itself, where a part to a story has not
appeared on
my server.  On a mailing list, things may be different but old habits
are hard to
break.

  Anyone who creates large stories should seriously consider getting
free web based space and point people to the location of the story.  I
am planning on doing that,
but a HD crash last night toasted all my HTML.  :-/  Luckily, I wasn't
very far in
the stages of building it.
