Minor detail - it's pretty hard to "accidentally drink" something.  You
would want to elaborate on exactly why she is drinking this (IE, connect
the fact that they have caught Happosai, KO'd him, and had some tea, or
something to that effect.

Hmm.  So far so good, but how did Nodoka get there?  And was she in
there in the first place?

Better yet, where do they start out at?

   This works.

   The second idea is good - note that she could feasibly maintain the
   mind of a 37-40 year old woman despite the, ah, sudden change in her
   physical stature.
