Okay, pending the PSME info I require, this fic shall go uncontinued.
However, it will take but a trip to the rental story to get the names
needed.  Anyway, this is the opening of the fic.  The title is an
alteration of Piers Anthony's "But What of Earth?", it just happen to
fit.  The priority this fic receives over my other projects will have to
do with how much positive mail I get from it.  So, it's sort of a
readers poll.  
Here it goes...

85 Million Years Ago...
     The pod shot through space, like it had done for ten thousand
years.  However, now it was in the last leg of its epic journey.  It
soundlessly plowed into the surface of the moon of the third planet of
System 288 as was its programing.  Once settled, it began to expand,
forming the rock around it into a suitable holding area for itself.
After a decade of building, it was complete.  It began to awaken its
occupants.
     The seven scientists came to and began to study the amazing blue
planet below them.

2001 years ago...
     The seven scientist turned their attention to the mysterious aliens
that had recently colonized their home.  They never would have thought
that their little rock in the middle of nowhere would attract the
attention of such a superior race of beings.  However, it had, and now
they had neighbors.
     Thankfully, these beings were not only much like they were, but
they were also friendly.  Relieved, they returned to their study of the
Earth, as around them the Silver Millennium began.

1000 years ago...
     The scientists had been immune to whatever the Queen had used on
everyone, so were left alone at the end of the war.  It had been a
bright thousand years, and they were sad to lose their friends that way.  
     But, they had a job to do.  So, they turned their undivided
attention back unto their planet and began to dream once more.  Alone.

200 years ago...
     The Virus attacks the Moon Base.  The scientist do all they can to
try and stop it, but it eventually overtakes them all.  Yet, one, due to
a situation involving the antidote, was left to go slowly mad before
finally succumbing to the horrid illness.  With that, the Base was left
devoid of life.  The seven carcasses would forever rest there, yet the
lifeforces that occupied them would move on....

The Present, 2000
     The seven scientists have all been reincarnated.  As well have all
the beings of the Silver Millennium.  

And so, the real adventure begins....
