For Saiya-jins, blood lines and pride and honor are second in importance after strength, that's why King Vegita found a lack of honor in his great blood line worst that any other "crime". Of course settling in a planet inhabited with "Weak little pathetic humans" (words quoted from King Vegita's own words) and even marrying one (me) and worst of all, letting all this "trash" (again words by our great, peaceful and not arrogant at all, King Vegita, so there's where Vegita took off) live. That's why he wanted vengeance with Prince Vegita worst than with Freeza, that was the one who eventually wiped out the Saiya-jin race ...

King Vegita has now come to a decision, he will call those scientists again, he wanted to go to the future, somehow, he believed them.

King Vegita called in Chuntra and Dantreo. He looked at them impassive while they visibly shook in fear, he smiled, he liked having that effect in people. He looked at them a little more.

Vegita : So, scientists, tell me about that machine. I want to know more about this strange future you have been talking me about, tell me more about my son and his settlement in Earth.

Dantreo : Well, your highness, your son Vegita goes to Earth in a attempt to conquer it, but is defeated by Kakaroto ...

Vegita : What ? Defeated by a low class soldier, what kind of baka do you take me for.

Chuntra : Sir, if you would like I could show you in the machine...

Vegita : Hai, do so ...

Chuntra and Dantreo go out of the palace, after some minutes we see them dragging in a small, prism like artifact. They bring it in and place it in the floor. Dantreo pushes some buttons and says ...

Dantreo : Your highness, we have configured the time machine's coordinates to the time of Vegita's defeat (ahem, cough, clears throat) and then, we'll see a scene of 30 years later in which he is settled in planet Earth that is inhabited with a strange race that looks roughly like Saiya-jin, have almost the same anatomy, but are weaker called humans (looks nervous) and has two children, halve-breads ...

Vegita : Go ahead you baka,. spare me the technical, just show me ...

Dantreo : (ahem) Hai, Vegita-sama.

Then, Chuntra pushes yet another button and a holographic beam comes out from the machine. Then, just like TV images pass by. Goku's and Vegita's battle and then another scene, Vegita and a lavander haired woman and a teenage boy and a girl  fighting. Everything looked so real, Vegita was totally convinced.

Vegita : So, my boy grows to be a coward and a traitor. He'll pay for it. I want to go to the future.

Dantreo : Itsu ?

Vegita : As soon as possible, I'll have my revenge on that weak son of mine, he has contaminated the Vegita dynasty, he'll pay for it, he'll die.

In the present .....

Goten : Yo, Trunks, slow down, I need a rest.

Trunks : Since when do you need rest ?

Goten : Since today. I need mental rest, that pop quiz let me hanging down.

Trunks : Well, you were the one who decided not to study.

Goten : You say that because you came out of school last year, you think that just because you are a year older than me, you can act like a daddy.

That night, we can hear a mother and daughter conversation, not so pleasant for the daughter, that's for sure ...
#18 enters Marron's room. Marron is staring glazed eyed at a photograph in her hands, a closer inspection would reveal it is a photograph of Trunks. When #18 enters, at first Marron doesn't see her entrance, but when she does, she quickly hides her photograph, but not quickly enough.

Marron : Mom, I'm going to Bra's house tonight (she said with a too rushed voice)

#18 :Is that so (one of her pale eyebrows rise)

Marron : Yes, and we are going to watch a movie ...

Chi Chi : Oh you Baka (she said so gently it sounded like "my love"), that was figurative language !

Goku : Figure what ?

Chi Chi : Oh, never mind, look for something in the fridge, I'll be in our room when you finish talking. I'm just exhausted.

Goku : What is wrong with her ?

Ubuu : When was the last time you went out to eat ?

Goku. Hmmm, let me see, ah, ahem, I don't remember ..

Marron's diary, 752 days after the last Tenkai-ichi Budoukai :

Tonight I went in a date with Trunks. It was so romantic...First we went to the movies and saw a romantic movie, when we went out of the theater we were in the mood. Then we went to a restaurant and ate. I'm always shocked at how much he eats, but he was being a little more civilized (in what food concerns) and then we talked a little. He told me about great battles, and I told him about school. I wonder what he sees in me. Well, at least I got my mother's eyes, hair and body, what more is to ask ? Then he took me to his home, and from there I would go with Bra to my house. When we got to the door of his house, he kissed me, my lips are still tingling. I swear I'll never wash my mouth again. Thinking better of it, I better do it, because then I'll have bad breath, yuck. My mother already know about Trunks, thanks to Kami-sama she wasn't mad.
