The FAQ says bachman.newberry.edu. I go there I go to the fanfic
directory current messages should be in 39999-49999, but the numbers
only go up to 29999, and most of those directories are empty.
That part of the FAQ is obsolete (hell, you were probably reading an
obsolete FAQ!). You can use the archive server on fanfic.com (obtain
instructions by sending mail to fanfic-request@fanfic.com with the
subject "help"), or you can access an archive on the web at
<http://illusion.snu.ac.kr/~wacko/ffml/> (this only maintains two
weeks worth of posts).
BTW, is the subscription mechanism broken? I can't seem to get the
address at illusion.snu.ac.kr subscribed, which is used to get the
archive on the web working, in addition to the database that maintains
the emails for fanfics.
