I'd like some C&C on the following background info on the
Alpha Cygnan Kingdom:

1) The Alpha Cygnans are predominantely female due to a 
combination of genetic and environmental catastophes that
decimated the male population. At the time of Project A-ko,
the ratio for the entire Kingdom was one male for every 
144,000 females. Since their scarce, Alpha Cygnan males 
remain on the homeworld, Lepto. (From whence comes the
name the LEPTON Kingdom of Alpha Cygni.)

2) Because the supplies of males are scarce on the homeworld,
the rest of the kingdom must use artificial insemination to 
carry on the race. This has been a constant source of embarass-
ment to them, and so is considered an "open secret", not to be
discussed in public. 

3) Their space fleet is large and powerful due to their almost
never-ending wars with their ancient enemy, the Xram (pro-
nounced ZEE-rahm). Their enemy is best described as a cross
between a gorilla and a leopard, with fierce yellow eyes, foul
personal habits, and a society that Marx and Lenin would be
envious of. Their fierce shriek of a battlecry - "WE!" - strikes
terror in even the bravest of Alpha Cygnan woman warriors. 
They never surrender when cornered, never give quarter, and 
regularly engage in kamikaze attacks on Alpha Cygnan ships.

4) The Alpha Cygnan religion is monotheistic. Their god is the
Shotosarikan. (In their language, Leptonese, "shotos" means 
being or person, "sar" means high, "sarik" means highest, and
"sarikan" means All-Highest. Hence, Shotosarikan means "The
All-Highest Being".) Their religion has seven major celebrations,
commemorating the beginnings of their spring, summer, fall and 
winter, their New Year, the foundation of the Kingdom, and the
Feast of Promise. The last celebration is the most solemn, when
their last major prophetess - Almah the Doe-Eyed - prophesied
that the Shotosarikan would reveal Himself personally to all the
Kingdom "from a place unexpected, and a race unknown, at a time
unrevealed". All Alpha Cygnans yearn in their hearts for the ful-
fillment of the Promise.

5) Due to a lack of male Heirs to the Throne, a law was passed that
the first Princess of the Realm who gave birth to a boy child would
have that child proclaimed King immediately. Until his age of 
majority, a regent ("Regolixa" in Leptonese) approved by the Royal
Family would rule in his name. At the time of Project A-ko, there
hasn't been a male on the Throne for 800 Earth years.
