Um...looking at this wouldn't the sensor-booms also be crushed???

They seem to be rather delicate and feathery (when compared to other parts
of the boomer.

 Also, it might be possible to prevent this sort of loss by encaseing them
in some a sheath of some sort with a "cushion" of static fluid.

I would have to believe God (or Genom) would have to design them for it.

No, it wouldn't.  because they would just closed their eyelids and bring out
their sensors, so the eyes won't not be damaged.  Even operating on the
sensors they can work at 100%.  This is just for the combat, experimental,
and battle boomers.

I think the d-,c-,b-,a- and labor types would be crushed or unable to
function right over the pressures you descripted.  hope it helps
