Good man. Forced endings can seriously hurt an otherwise good story. I
remember cringing at the end of one of a recent series because of the
forced, out-of-nowhere way that Ranma ended up with whom he did. (I
E-mailed the author and said so, so you who are reading this can stop
wondering if I'm talking about your fic.)

I'll admit it to one and all. I can't stand Ranma/Akane stories anymore. No, 
I mean I REALLY can't stand them. The last serious one I liked was Krista's 
snow woman one. That was a fair while ago. I can't even take Ryouga/Ukyou 
ones anymore. They feel so... wrong. Mousse/Ukyou I can handle, because it's
rarer.

How do you feel about Ukyo/Mikado? It's even rarer! <dodges>

New characters and her are almost guarenteed to have me hitting the
delete button. I want a Ranma/Ukyou story. 

There's Zen's Long and Winding Road, and Adrian Wong's Darkness and
Light, just to name the ones that come to mind.

*Sigh*... Let's face it, pretty much EVERY pairing in Ranma 1/2 that
makes any sense (and several that don't, IMO) has been done in some way
or another. I wouldn't be surprised if Donny Cheng (an author whose
works I enjoy) has a Ranma-Cologne story in the works right now. For me,
the question is not WHO Ranma gets paired with, but HOW.

She doesn't deserve her fate. I'm sure if Caroline sees this, she'll gleefully
point out Ukyou's help in destroying the Saotome's house, and the wedding
bombing. Shrug. More power to Ukyou, I think. I don't want to see the
boring old wedding argument again, but I will say this: She. Deserved. Better.

In life or literature, people often don't get what they deserve.
