Others will probably disagree, but I thought this was a very good
portrayl of what Ukyo might be like after finding out she's not going to
get Ranma. She comes off as a real person in this story, with all the
needs and desires of a real person. She doesn't just settle back
painlessly into the best friend role, nor does she quietly waste away,
nor does she quickly find true love elsewhere.

On the line "You want to come back to my place?" Being a Python fan, I
got a good chuckle over it. Don't know if the in-joke was intended or
not.

I don't really think the story deserved the "dark" tag; maybe it will as
it continues?

I wonder what happened to Mousse and Cologne. Maybe Mousse is only now
putting on his glasses: "Shampoo, I'm so happy you decided to run away
with me! HUH? You're not..." Actually, Keener has already written
something like that.
