Ummmmm, how old are you?  I hate to say this but I've seen one or two 
episodes of Power Rangers and the fight scenes are cheesy.  But the 
question is will it be a sitcom or drama? 

If it is going to be a drama, have  AKIRA KUROSAWA direct (that is if he is
still alive). He is the one who directed Yojimbo, the classic japanese drama,
and The Seven Samurai, another classic japanese drama.
