Hopefully this answers your questions.  Of course, it'll probably annoy
the hell out of some people, but as I say later, flame me in private.  The
list is spammy enough at the moment. ;)

valid question.  Probably comes down to the average age of the people on
the list.  The average age of people on this list would be about 17-18 or
so.  The average personality of people on the list I'd have to describe
as..  retiring.  In real life at least.  On the list, as we've recently
seen, you are as much as you say you are.

So, we've got a bunch of people, still coming to terms with puberty and
being adult.  Physically at least.  Mentally... well, yes ;).  And then
they are exposed to a people of a similar mindset.  What the hell do you
expect them to write about? ;)

Lets take an example, whose probably gonna kill me after this ;).

One of the most prolific and descriptive anime lemon writers, Caroline
Seawright aka Kun-chan is in real-life, a tad shy with people she doesn't
know that well.  Having said that, she packs a mean coke bottle once she
gets 'comfortable' with a person.  And I don't mean physically you
drooling otaku ;).

Why?  Why not?  Its just that sex, romance and etc are subjects of
interest, a new thing to most of the subscribers of this list.  Good topic
for stories ;).  Tis only natural for people to want to write about it.

What reaction do they intend?  Some do intend their [lemon] stories to
have shock value.  Others, I sure don't know what they intended, but they
certainly offend some people ;).  Still others, entertainment.  A
pleasurable 'what-if' with established characters.  (Would you write, in
gory detail, about your first love?  personally, thats my and mine
experience ;) ).

If people find such Lemons objectionably, then whyinhell are they reading
them?  An admin friend of mine tells of being hassled by a righteous
do-gooder who was requesting, naye, demanding that he remove porn from the
Internet.  To which he responded; "Lady, how do you know there porn on the
Internet?" "I looked it up." "Then don't." *click*.

Of course, this whole argument revolves around the young... hmmm... Ed!
you need more sex in your stories! ;)
