Boy! Talk about shattered illusions.

Y'know, what really gets my goat is that there always was a nagging doubt
in the back of my mind concerning Hitomi-chan's existance, especially
considering that I used to be into Ninja High School (the series to which
the character Hitomi Ichinohei comes from). When I first saw the name, and
started reading some of Hitomi's fics (which are good; the writer just
doesn't give him/herself enough credit!), I convinced myself with the
thought, "Gee! There really IS a woman named Hitomi Ichinohei! Neat!"

When the fact that Hitomi was from NHS was posted, all those doubts started
to resurface something nasty.

Twisty's missive clinches it for me.

I will be trying despirately to kick myself for the next few days. :)

(This is something I haven't done since Ratbat corrected someone on the
proper use of personal pronouns, saying that she was a woman. Oh well, I
didn't know Ratbat was female either until came out of the closet, STS. She
certainly hid it well. To tell the truth, I'm _still_ not entirely sure.

Well, the guy does have at least _one_ redeeming quality: dispite his/her
assurances to the contrary, "Hitomi" does write DAMN good fanfic material.
;)

And at least working with him/her was fun.

*sigh*

I'll miss the times when we were all innocent. ;_;

P.S. I'd like to assure everyone that Thomas Roland Jefferys does indeed
exist, and that I am who I say I am (o/~ I yam what I yam... o/~). And at
least one person on this list can verify this. Right, Spacewarp-kun? ;)
