Perceptive?  Ryouga?  This guy falls for it every time Ranma changes
clothes and announces she's his long lost relative, and he saw through
Ukyou's disguise?  

Remember that circumstances haven't been against Ryoga here.

I tend to think the reason that he's so damn thickheaded in Ranma 1/2 is
because he's got a grudge that he's held for numerous years, with his mind
probably fixed on nothing else as he wandered through China, he's
completely lovestruck, and his life has been screwed to hell by his curse.

If events had fallen like I put them, I would think that Ryoga could have
turned out to be a more perceptive individual.  In Junior High, it was hard
to say how he acted, so I'm just guessing.  <shrug>

This would, incidentally, have been when Ukyou and Ranma were 13, (1st
year of junior high).  The odds are pretty good that Ranma's voice
was pretty high pitched as well, or just starting to break.

It may be.  I know I haven't posted the chapters before, but I may have
posted the prologue sometime back.
