Some other possibilities to consider:
1. RAAC stories are also archived in the RAAC archives. I don't know
when this happens, but chances are it will be archived already. So people
will be able to download it if they want.

Good suggestion, It has just been posted to the RAAC archive as a matter of 
fact.

2. Do you have a web page ? If so, you can place it there, and people can
download it if they want it and only if they want it.

3. Yet another point: you can put in a remark in your new chapter that should
someone want chapter 1 they can email you for a copy.

If you can't access the net, post me and I'll send you a copy.

4. You can mail it to the list with the remark 'RAAC repost' or somesuch
in the header.
