(sigh) Don't twist my meaning please. My point was we as a list never got a
say, he simply showed up. So what if was the only Tybalt who wanted the
job? It would have seemed more relavant then a blantant stranger.


Does he imagine the FFML is some kind of democracy?  Can you imagine the
bunfight that would ensue if we DID have a choice as to who was to be the
moderator?


Actually, it might have been nice for the list owner to "introduce" the
moderator to the list, or at least tell the list that it was going to become
moderated. No one knew that the list was going to go from unmoderated to
moderated until one day when "Tybalt" showed up and said "here I am!"
