Actually, I rather like Tybalt. Now, I don't know him personally, but I
think
he's done a pretty good job at keeping the noise-to-signal ratio relatively
low. As it is, I spend enough time wading through all the spam to get to
read actual fanfics (the rumored purpose of this list). Now, don't get me
wrong, I generally don't mind spam much (I dont have mailbox size limits,
and it doesnt take that much time to delete it), but there have been times in
the past where its really gotten excessive. Seems to me that it hasn't
gotten out of hand since Tybalt started moderating. So I, for one,
appreciate his efforts.

I dislike Tybalt for several reason. The largest being that he popped up
one day and said, "I'm moderator do what I say." we as a list had no say in
*who* was moderator. Tybalt seems to have calmed down somewhat and he
doesn't appear so intrusive now. Before it was a dictitorial in nature
rather then actual moderation. I've heard the Tybalt get's testy because of
RL... that's no excuse, if RL get's in the way then don't take it out on
the list. It would be like having a boss be very angry because of something
and then have then come into work and take it out on you. I doubt you'd
condone such action. Tybalt's philosphy as *I* see is that if he can yell
loud enough he'll scare the other people into submission, I wonder if he
ever considered politeness? There are a few instances where he screams
"Read the FAQ" and all newbies and even older people should turn to find
answers to questions, however isn't there a general trend to pass over
instruction manuals? The FAQ could be compared to that a manual, although
not an excuse, would tend to explain why people don't read it. I can't
respect someone who I dislike, Tybalt had to of known what he was getting
into so I don't think he should complain; if he's that disatisfied they
there is a simple solution find someone else to do it.
