Ok now this is where the lurker speaks ^_^;;
Grant it I'm new to the FFML (I first subbed sometime during May) I've seen
this place as a pub, as mentioned in the speech. As WW pointed out there
are 583 ppl on the list, that's a lot of people. I really don't think any
one person can keep correspondence with that many ppl. ^_^;; And yes there
are ppl that come in and ppl that drop out, that can not be avoided. The
only thing that stays the same is change. Unfortunately/Fortunately,
whichever you want to look at it. People have lives, although I doubt I may
have one. ^_^;; And people do tend to follow what their life has in store
for them.

For some people the FFML, or any ML for that matter, is their current path
in life. That is good, the people that do write fics and post them here
have a talent for entertaining people through their words. Isn't that the
goal of this ML to entertain people by writing fics? 

I know this place does have a lot of meaning for a lot of the older people
( I mean older as in being on the ml longer ^_^;;). Back then there were
friendships to be made and all that friendly mush stuff. ^_^ Yes it does
hurt to see an old friend break that bond of friendship by unsubbing to the
ML. It's hard to not see that person participate in the ML discussions
anymore, but I guess that's life.

There are new blood that join the ML though. Thankfully not all of them are
lurkers, they do participate, and stuff. ^_^;; There is no point to isolate
yourself from the new. The doors of this ML is always open and there is no
need to be looking in from the outside. You can always join in. That is how
new friendships are made. Isolation and not talking contributes more to the
outside looking in pov that a lot of people have on the list. All you need
to do is to contribute a bit and that is all.

I suffer from the outside looking in pov not just here, but sometimes in
#ranma!. Even though I am new here, I am certainly not new to #ranma!. I've
seen many changes in people and I've seen old people go out and new people
go in. I suppose that change is good, as it keeps things from getting old.
But then again I'm almost as old as you Wing. ^_^;; So I guess to keep
everyone from loosing interest and to answer the "Why are we here"
question, we all come here to become entertained, and so far I'm
entertained.

Sometimes this list can be more of a pain than it's worth, but it's been
worth it in the long run, I've read good fics, and I kinda felt happy that
I've helped some people on the list through C&C and other stuff oh well i
guess I've spoken too much now... ^_^;; I hope that this isn't as Spammy as
i think it'll be..... but wait a minute it doesn't matter Tybalt is gone
and on Vacation WOOHOO ^_^;; So I guess everyone can break out the Spam
from their personal stashes, but not too much at one time ^_^;;
