My prereaders know a bit about how this story has affected me. Writing it
has done horrible things to my emotional stability. I guess, in a bad way,
it's nice to see that others can be affected by it too. 

Still... we're making it sound like a truly depressing darkfic here... for 
the people who read the C&C before they read the fic, and who have now 
pigeonholed this story... there's nothing much I can do about that, except 
say "Read the fic, judge for yourself. Please."
