I've never claimed that I knew what people should write.  Nor have I
demanded that people write certain things.  But I don't have to read
everything that is written.  There is just too much being posted onto this
ML to do so, so I'm deliberately picky.

I don't feel my critical abilities are enough to give a useful C&C to those
that are published here, so I don't.

I am paranoid about the reactions of certain writers (old and new) to any
fanfic effort on my part, so I don't post.  Its that simple.  Constructive
criticism is in the eye of the beholder.  Of course, there are some for
whom flaming is deserved (remaining nameless).

I don't know what this list was like beforehand.  Nor can I remember the
old list.  I can only live with the list as it exists, as I have only been
here a short while.  Dunno, with the negativity this ML seems to have at
the moment, whether I'll stay.  I'm sure someone will applaud that.
