This is a little poem I came up with due to the recent thread that makes
the FFML seem like a bad place to be (and the arguments against that).
PM Productions Presents
A Phillip Masters Poem
Ode to the FFML
In the infinite waters of the vast internet/
On an island server, worth its weight in yen/
There's a colorless wolf guarding its den/
Inside is a crossroads that's confusing indeed/
Some call it Heaven, even more call it Hell/
A magical place named the FFML/
It's a Pandora's Box filled with wonderful things/
When it comes to ideas it's an overflowing dam/
And if you get hungry, there's plenty of spam/
It's a place to see worlds get torn apart/
Where anime characters get readily tortured/
And the English language is painfully butchered/
A place for authors to get their works read/
Possitive feedback is always quite fun/
Yet, here there are flames as hot as the sun/
It's a great tribe of people, some well known/
Many yell "hurry!" to the picked upon Zen/
Then, eventually, he'll release a fic and they start over again/
It's a torrent of ever changing emotions/
We got choked up when Richard showed us all that time is ever insisting/
Yet readily cracked up at Megane and Oneshot's hilarious MiSTing/
It's a place of great happenings/
See John and Paul get lost, and Chris gain Godhood/
Though there isn't a lot, what there is is quite good/
All things are possible here don't you see?/
Where you'll see impossible crossovers involving Lina/
See Ranma get constantly dumped on by Christina/
It's an overall wonderful place to be/
On the FFML things never get boring/
Like that blasted pink bunny, it keeps going and going.....
END
Well, I'm sure this'll raise some comments. Fire away. Hope I didn't
offend anyone whose name I used, BTW.
