Please don't forward these to the list. :P They tend, as a rule, to be
hoaxes... the ridiculous "die if you read them email" virus hoaxes being
among the most common. In a way, they are a sort of virus... but a human
one, not a computer malady.

Those of you concerned about viruses should visit the US Govt website on
them, the IBM site, or the CERN page. Those of you with Macs needn't
bother; like the software companies, it seems no-one makes viruses for
Macs anymore. Windows, on the other hand, has a plethora of nasty little
infections that can slip into the disgustingly-easy-to-exploit OS.
