They are hoaxes, plain and simple. You *cannot* get a virus by reading
an email message.
You're fortunate Tybalt is not here; you would have been permanently
banned from the ML for putting this up.

But please. Stop the chain letters before they get too far. Letters
like this ply on the fears of people unfamiliar with the internet and
believe them to be true. In fact, messages like this just clog up
mailboxes and do nothing productive.
Just so you know. I know your intentions were good and that you were
